Creating Metamask wallet

A web3 wallet allows you to interact with web3 applications, store your tokens and NFTs. Metamask is one of most commonly used web3 wallet available. In this guide, you will learn how to create one.

Download and install .

Check the URL and make sure you are installing from https://metamask.io

After Metamask is installed, go to the Metamask extension.

Click on "Get Started", then "Create a Wallet".

Read through the next page agree to the prompt.

Next, create a new password. This password will be used every time you want to access your wallet in the same browser.

On the next screen, watch the video to learn about seed phrase and ways to keep your wallet secure.

Metamask will now show you your newly generated seed phrase. Please keep this set of words in a safe place and never reveal it to anyone.

Once you have confirmed your seed phrase, you have now created your wallet.

It starts with "0x" followed by 40 characters from 0 to 9, a to f.
